A Year of Triumphs and Aspirations!
Dear Visitors,
As Director of IVAO Lebanon, it is with great pride and gratitude that I reflect on the remarkable journey of our division in 2024—our very first year of existence. Despite the challenges posed by the socio-political situation in Lebanon, our shared passion for aviation and our commitment to excellence have allowed us to achieve incredible milestones.
Reflecting on 2024
We began in March 2024 with just four founding members. Today, IVAO Lebanon stands as a vibrant and growing community of 46 members, over half of whom are actively engaged. This growth is a testament to the dedication and resilience of our members, who have embraced the vision of building a strong and inspiring division.
Among our many accomplishments:
- Tours: We introduced 10 tours, spanning 318 legs and covering over 325,000 nautical miles. These tours have not only brought excitement but have also shaped our plans for even more engaging offerings in the future.
- Events: From the highly successful World Food Day initiative to our monthly group flights, we brought aviation enthusiasts together in meaningful and collaborative ways.
- Training & Development: Through the efforts of our team, we created comprehensive resources and training programs, setting a strong foundation for our members to excel as pilots and air traffic controllers.
- Public Engagement: By building a consistent brand, growing our social media presence, and forming key partnerships such as with Aerosoft, we raised IVAO Lebanon’s profile and created new opportunities for collaboration.
Our Vision for 2025
The year ahead is brimming with promise as we build upon the foundations laid in 2024. Here’s what you can expect:
- Exciting New Initiatives: Launching Lebanon Virtual Airlines in February, the ‘Discover the Nile’ Turboprop Tour with IVAO Egypt, and our reimagined Airplane Mode and World Food Day events.
- Special Operations Department: Realistic missions like firefighting, search and rescue, and patrols will bring dynamic new experiences to our division starting mid-year.
- Community Growth: We aim to increase our active membership to 40, strengthening our regional presence and inspiring even more participation.

To our members, I want to say thank you. Your dedication and enthusiasm have been the driving force behind everything we have achieved. Together, we are rekindling the brilliance that once defined Lebanon as a beacon of wisdom, knowledge, and leadership.
Let us continue to build on this foundation in 2025, radiating the same resilience and hope that have carried us this far. Through aviation, we will inspire others and honor the legacy of our beloved Lebanon.
