Lebanon is not just about its vibrant cities and stunning coastlines—it’s also home to breathtaking snowy mountains that captivate locals and visitors alike. This December 7th, join us for the last event of the year: WHITE LEBANON, a unique dual event designed to showcase Lebanon’s picturesque winter landscapes from both the skies and the cockpit!
Many Lebanese and tourists from all around the world, the USA, Canada, Europe and the Middle-east, come to visit Lebanon during the end of year period to enjoy the festivities and the snowy ski slopes of Mount Lebanon. We are to reproduce these flights as follows:
- From OLBA to Anywhere: Departures are open to destinations worldwide.
- To OLBA from Anywhere: Arrivals are also welcome from any origin.
RULES:
- Minimum one-hour block time requirement.
- Land at or depart from OLBA within the timeframe: 10z-16z.
Explore Lebanon’s snowy mountains with short, scenic VFR flights. Perfect for those who love low-and-slow flying and soaking in the majestic views.

Approximate Flight Duration: 20 minutes to 1 hour
Do not worry, you will be vectored!
RULES:
- Land at or depart from OLBA within the timeframe: 10z-16z.
- Jets not allowed.
- Maximum altitude 10.000ft
- Maximum speed 250knt
Each of the events above White Lebanon IFR and White Lebanon VFR, grants 1 HQ point.
ATC: Your session (even if unique) can be reported for both events.
Pilots: Flying 1 leg in an event allows you to report for 1 HQ point relevant to this same event.
If you fly only in the IFR or the VFR event only you can report for only 1 HQ point. If you fly in both events, you can report for 2 HQ points. In short, you can consider them 2 seperate overlapping events, with enough timeframe to cover 2 flights.
