On August 24th, 2025, IVAO held the Africa & Middle East Cross the Desert (COD) event, connecting divisions across two vast and diverse regions. Pilots navigated over breathtaking desert landscapes and historic routes, showcasing the beauty and challenge of long-haul operations in this part of the world.

While participation was scattered among the involved divisions, the event still reflected a strong sense of regional unity and cooperation, marking another milestone in IVAO’s continued effort to strengthen collaboration across Africa and the Middle East.
