On January 10th, 2025, IVAO Lebanon and IVAO Egypt joined forces to host “Baal Meets Ra,” a symbolic and culturally inspired airbridge connecting Beirut (OLBA) and Cairo (HECA). The event drew inspiration from ancient mythology, bringing together the storm god Baal and the sun god Ra in a stunning visual theme.

Over the course of three hours, the skies were alive with traffic as 11 departures from Beirut and 13 arrivals were recorded, reflecting strong pilot engagement and excellent coordination between the two divisions. The event served as a tribute to the rich heritage of the Levant and the Nile Valley, while offering a memorable flying experience to all participants.
