WORLD FOOD DAY 2025
On October 11th, 2025, IVAO Lebanon proudly hosted its second annual World Food Day – A Flight Against Hunger humanitarian event. Pilots and controllers united once again to support the global fight against hunger, flying critical missions from Lebanon’s secondary airfields (OLKA, OLRA, Z190) into Beirut (OLBA), while others operated international humanitarian routes representing global relief operations.
The event drew solid attendance across both local and international flights, with pilots enthusiastically taking part in this meaningful cause. The participation table showed a healthy mix of turboprops, rotors, and heavy aircraft — reflecting the diverse nature of real-world humanitarian logistics. With strong engagement and a passionate community spirit, it was a very exciting and impactful event, proving once again how aviation simulation can bring awareness and support to a global humanitarian mission.
This initiative continues IVAO Lebanon’s commitment to using virtual aviation for good, and the division looks forward to expanding this inspiring tradition in future editions.
