On November 29, 2024, IVAO Lebanon embarked on an adrenaline-fueled adventure from Managua (MNMG) to one of aviation’s most challenging destinations: Toncontín International Airport (MHTG) in Tegucigalpa. The group flight, held at 1900z, tested pilots with the infamous RNP 02 approach to Runway 02, known for its sharp turns, mountainous terrain, and razor-thin margins for error.

This approach lived up to its reputation, pushing every participant’s skill and precision to the limit. Navigating through tight valleys and executing intricate maneuvers proved to be a monumental task. Feedback from pilots emphasized the sheer difficulty of the approach, with many calling it one of the toughest flights they’d ever undertaken.

Despite the immense challenge, the camaraderie and determination of IVAO Lebanon members shone through. Together, they conquered this iconic runway, proving the strength and resilience of the division’s pilots.
