In celebration of U.S. Independence Day, IVAO Lebanon launched its most ambitious long-haul group flight of the year — a symbolic journey from Beirut to Washington D.C., flying across the Atlantic and into the heart of the U.S. capital.

Despite the creative concept and thematic twist, participation was exceptionally limited. Only one pilot took on the challenge of the 12+ hour flight, making this a solo transatlantic effort. The flight still fulfilled its symbolic significance, bridging continents and showcasing commitment to the spirit of long-haul virtual aviation.

This event will be a reference point for future long-haul planning, balancing ambition with practicality.
