On October 2nd, 2025, IVAO Lebanon held its October Group Flight from Rayak Air Base (OLRA) to Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport (OLBA), celebrating Lebanon’s rich aviation heritage. Pilots took on the challenge of flying the classic Middle East Airlines DC-6, bringing back the golden age of flight. Despite the complexity of this vintage aircraft, three pilots successfully completed the route under full ATC coverage, marking a great turnout for such a demanding operation. The event combined nostalgia, skill, and teamwork — a true tribute to Lebanese aviation history.
