On February 27th, 2025, IVAO Lebanon and the Middle East Region (XM) Division hosted a symbolic airbridge between Beirut (OLBA) and Amman (OJAI), commemorating the historic first flight between the two capitals in 1963 by ALIA, the future Royal Jordanian.

Organized in collaboration with Lebanon Virtual Airlines and Levant Virtual Airline, the event saw 25 departures from Beirut and 17 arrivals, reflecting outstanding pilot engagement and seamless ATC coordination. The evening not only celebrated aviation heritage but also strengthened the virtual bond between two neighboring nations.
