Low Cost Carriers 2026

Discover OLKA, Lebanon’s soon to be secondary airport!

or the first time in Lebanon’s aviation history, René Mouawad Airport (OLKA) in North Lebanon is envisioned as a gateway for Low-Cost Carriers, offering a secondary platform with reduced operating costs and great potential for regional connectivity.

The IVAO Lebanon Division proudly presents the “Low Cost Carriers” Tour, opening the skies for pilots to operate new low-cost routes linking Europe, the Middle East, and Africa with OLKA — Lebanon’s upcoming secondary airport.

While OLKA is not yet operational for civilian activity, this tour simulates its revival as part of Lebanon’s national project to rehabilitate the airport.
Special procedures and instructions for departures and arrivals at OLKA are detailed in each leg’s individual rules, ensuring a realistic and well-coordinated experience for all participants.

Pilots will fly routes inspired by real-world low-cost operations, featuring airlines such as Transavia, Pegasus, Ryanair, Wizz Air, and more, connecting major regional hubs to Lebanon’s northern coast — where heritage meets a new era of aviation.

Join the tour and take part in shaping Lebanon’s next aviation milestone — a future that’s more accessible, affordable, and connected than ever before.
