IVAO Lebanon hosted its first VFR event in collaboration with IVAO Middle East Region (XM). This event marked a significant milestone, attracting pilots from around the world, including many from Iraq, Jordan, Syria, and beyond. Most participants flew multiple legs, with a large number flying the popular route from Damascus to Beirut.

The event featured scenic VFR routes, connecting airports in Lebanon, Syria, and Cyprus, under the guidance of skilled controllers. With a special focus on visual flying, the event offered an engaging challenge for pilots accustomed to IFR operations, allowing them to explore the beauty and complexity of VFR navigation.

Thanks to the high turnout and excellent coordination, this event laid the groundwork for future collaborations between divisions. We thank all participants and look forward to welcoming you to future events!
