ODPMB: LIAU to OLBA

In 2012, the Aeroclub proudly took delivery of a brand-new Tecnam P92 JS from the factory in Capua, Italy (LIAU), and accomplished the impressive feat of flying it back to Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport (OLBA) without autopilot.

The route follows their original journey, providing a mix of technical flying and scenic beauty:
- LIAU (Capua, Italy) – Begin at the home of Tecnam, setting off from its historic factory on a 2-hour 35-minute leg to LGKR (Corfu, Greece), where the Ionian shores welcome you.
- LGKR – LGMG (Megara, Greece) – Fly 2 hours and 20 minutes over the sparkling blue seas to a serene stop near Athens.
- LGMG – LGRP (Rhodes, Greece) – Navigate a 2-hour 50-minute leg to the vibrant island of Rhodes, famed for its rich history and captivating landscapes.
- LGRP – LCLK (Larnaca, Cyprus) – Head east for a 3-hour 10-minute stretch to the cultural heart of Cyprus.
- LCLK – OLBA (Beirut, Lebanon) – Complete your odyssey with a 1-hour 40-minute flight, crossing the Mediterranean and touching down in Beirut, celebrating the legacy of the Aeroclub of Lebanon.
